CHURCH

Worshiping our Lord Jesus is a centerpiece of AUMC.
As a church family, we praise His name through music, the Word, and sharing the message.
Ever changing, our worship has a place for everyone!
Here We Are to Worship!
Contact the church office to receive a printed and/or audio version of each week's sermon.
Pastor Bruce will guide us through the first 8 books of Romans in his latest sermon series:

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:16-17)

Keep the book's theme before our minds as we study together. Everything Paul wrote by inspiration of the Holy Spirit builds upon these two verses.

Change your life from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:20.
With the immediacy of Internet searches and ease of handheld devices,
the custom of memorizing Scripture may not seem necessary,
but best-selling author Robert J. Morgan makes an airtight case for reviving this rewarding practice in 100 Bible Verses Everyone Should Know by Heart.
"It's vital for mental and emotional health and for spiritual well-being," he writes. "It's as powerful as acorns dropping into furrows in the forest. It allows God's words to sink into your brain and permeate your subconscious thoughts. It saturates the personality, satiates the soul, and stockpiles the mind. It changes the atmosphere of every family and alters the weather forecast of every day."

Join us as we memorize Scripture with each Sunday worship service. Click the button for a copy of the Scriptures to place in your Bible, on your mirror, in your car, or in a spot where you can review and memorize these carefully chosen verses.
Opportunities to Serve
Anthony UMC needs ushers, greeters, acolytes, musicians, tech desk, children's moments, and readers. There is also a need for volunteers to change the paraments, prepare the communion elements, fill the candles with oil, collect the attendance rosters, and prepare the children's clipboards. Consider volunteering for one of these important tasks.
