On the Sunday prior to the start of the new school year in August, students and teachers lay their backpacks on the railing at the front of the sanctuary to receive a special blessing for the new school year.

We also recognize those individuals who work or volunteer their time in the schools as bus drivers, secretaries, board members, Runner Buddies, and others.
