1. Mike Cather is leading "The Chosen" following worship in the Fellowship Hall. 
2. Also, there is still time to step forward and lead a group of your own. Two or three is all you need for a small group. Just pick the time that best suits your schedule and invite others to join you. Jesus said, "Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am with them."
3. Let Lucinda in the office know if you'd like her help in purchasing a book!

Melissa and Bruce will lead an online only group on Thursdays from 7PM - 8PM (starting Feb 5). We will lead our small group on Zoom. (Please email me at Jippie1@aol.com, if you wish to participate in our group).

Harper UMC will host an in-person "satellite" option in connection with the online class Thursday evenings @ 7 PM. Location leaders, Tiffany & Kyle Cooperrider, invite participants to the Harper UMC sanctuary. There, the entire group will join the online group via Zoom. This gathering option removes any fear you may have with trying to navigate the Zoom technology. Plus, it gives folks the in-person fellowship they prefer. To join this sub-group, arrive at HUMC before 7 PM on Thursday Feb 5.

This study connects readers to the Bible in a brand-new way. It includes:
† A deeper look at Isaiah 43 and its fulfillment in Jesus and the lives of His followers (including us!)

† Guiding questions for groups or individuals

Being chosen by Jesus has beautiful and far-reaching implications—although it says even more about the Chooser than the choosees. We are loved because He is love. We are saved because He is merciful. We belong to the family of God because Jesus invites us, making the Bible and all its promises as true for us today as it was for God’s chosen nation.

What does it actually mean to be Chosen? To answer that question we’re going Old-School-Testament that is—which leads us back to the New - Which always leads us directly to Jesus.
